An alternative view on health

One of the biggest questions today is ‘how can I be more healthy?’ Is it a better diet? More exercise? Or can taking a different view affect your health?

In this series of videos called Lives Lived, individuals found that an understanding of the role spirituality can play in restoring and sustaining health brought healing to various conditions. Find out how they found better health through prayer and a spiritual perspective of life and identity.

Meet Michelle. She found a lump in her breast and felt she needed healing right away, as several family members had dealt with breast cancer. She decided to treat the condition through Christian Science prayer. After six months, not only did she feel a greater sense of peace in her life, but the lump also dissolved. She’s been free from this condition for over 10 years.

How can I explore this further?

In this section of the website, you will find information on prayer and health from a Christian Science perspective.

We have a number of blogs for you to browse, written by four individuals who study and live by the spiritual truths taught in the Bible, and they use what they have learnt to bring healing into the lives of others.

There is also information on Christian Science practitioners who provide spiritual treatment through prayer that results in healing. We also have a directory that will help you find and contact a Christian Science practitioner near you.
Finally, there is information on Christian Science nursing, nurses, and nursing facilities located in the UK
